to qualify them as instructors and trainers.
Through extensive training, certification
and dedication, our staff has attained mastery
in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill
and passing it on to our members. Here are a few
of Parisi Fitness Centers - Morris Plains' staff
members:
Doreen
Sheridan – Assistant Manager
A former Parisi health club member, Doreen’s passion for fitness and desire
to spend more time with her family in the Morris Plains area brought her to our
staff. A challenge driven professional, she leads the member service team in
consistently maintaining and raising the standards of customer service at Parisi’s
Morris Plains Health Club. Doreen has a B.S. in Biology from Douglass College,
Rutgers University and an M.S. in Biotechnology from William Paterson University.
Before joining the Parisi team in 2006 she had a fifteen year career in the pharmaceutical
industry as a scientist. Doreen enjoys spending time with her family, including
her husband and 2 children.
Julia
Gibson – Personal Trainer
Julia joined the Parisi team in 2006. She is an energetic, client-focused
personal trainer with successful experience designing dynamic, memorable fitness
programs to improve the health and well being of diverse clients. With a BS in
Marketing & AA in Advertising / Public Relations from JOHNSON & WALES
UNIVERSITY, Providence, RI., she has parlayed her education background into fitness
instruction by using her unique ability to entertain clients with fun, innovative
programs and an optimistic attitude. Her exceptional people skills and talent
for inspiring clients help our members surpass their own fitness goals. Julia
also has experience teaching group fitness as well as Jazz, Lyrical, and Ballet
dance.

Pete
Maraldo – Personal Trainer
Pete Maraldo joined the Parisi team in January
2008 and has been a competitive athlete and
powerlifter for most of his life. Pete began
his career as an instructor in the United States
Marine Corps and was certified by both the
Department of the Navy and the DOD as a PT
and Drill Instructor. He continued his career
as an instructor after joining the Passaic
County Sheriff's Dept in 1990
and was a PTC certified academy instructor.
After retiring as a detective in 2006 he entered
the fitness industry full time and was on the
coaching staff at Paramus Catholic High School
as the strength and conditioning coach for
several years. Pete specializes in injury recovery,
sports specific / strength training and sports
nutrition.

Andy
Nazario – Personal Trainer
Andy Nazario joined the Parisi team back in March 2008 as a Member Service Representative
and quickly became inspired to move within the club as a NASM certified personal
trainer. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.
AJ
Santos – Personal Trainer & Group
Fitness Instructor
AJ joined the Parisi team in 2006 as a personal
trainer. He trains members off all ages from starting
at 14 years of age to 80. AJ’s passion for
training starts at his heart but his mind helps
him to create custom workouts to tailor each clients
needs specifically. AJ also teaches several Group
Fitness Teaching classes including Bootcamp and
Core Classes.

Laura
O’Reilly – Pilates Reformer
Director
Laura’s fitness background includes fitness center management, personal
training management, personal trainer, group exercise instructor, yoga workshops
and physical therapy assistant. She joined Parisi’s Morris Plains Health
club in January of 2005, where she designed the group exercise program for the
brand new club’s launch. She has written hundreds of fitness articles as
a weekly columnist for the Morris County Daily Record, a Gannett Newspaper, and
has contributed to newspapers and other publications throughout the U.S. Laura
is currently doing her clinical hospital training in an R.N. program.
Rachel Polk –
Group Fitness Manager
Rachel's love of fitness is what brought her into
the industry a little over eight years ago. Before joining
Parisi, she worked in several local health clubs at both commercial
and corporate facilities. Her career began as a massage
therapist but she soon realized her true passion was in the fitness
industry. She
became a certified personal trainer and then a fitness instructor.
She loves the idea of helping others to improve their quality
of life.
Rachel is extremely outgoing and
active and loves the outdoors. Her hobbies
include hiking and biking. She is
also an avid horse back rider who competes during
the summer months.
